First Quarter — Iowa at Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis.—While half of the Wisconsin student section was absent by kickoff, Iowa’s run game was anything but. The Hawkeyes’s tailbacks started off when true freshman Brandon Wegher proved to be hard to stop, returning the kick to Wisconsin’s 42 yard line. Redshirt Freshman Adam Robinson quickly got into the offensive mix getting a few touches that resulted in getting a third down for the Hawkeyes in their trip down field.

Fullback Brett Morse relieved Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi when he was being hurried by the Badger defensive line, but the play still equated a loss of four yards for the Hawkeyes.
