At 7-0, the Iowa Hawkeyes are getting some national recognition their way now.
After moving up to seventh in the AP poll and eighth in the Coaches’ poll, the initial BCS standings released on Sunday have Iowa ranked sixth.
Atop the BCS standings were Florida and Alabama, respectively. Texas came in third, while Boise State was fourth and Cincinnati fifth.
The Hawkeyes play at Michigan State on Oct. 24. Kickoff is at 6 p.m., Central, from Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich.
