Iowa City police are investigating a suspicious death after finding the body of a 20-year-old woman in an apartment complex Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 1500 block of Aber Avenue around 9:30 p.m Wednesday, according to police. At 1527 Aber Avenue, authorities found the body of Kylie Perkins, who lived at 1527 Aber Ave. Apt. 11.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting in the investigation. An autopsy is being performed today.
