Officials are investigating a suspicious death in the Modern Manor mobile home park near Iowa City.
Sarah Elizabeth McKay, 34, has been identified as the victim.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is on the scene at 18 Expo Drive along with officials from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. The state’s crime lab, Johnson County Attorney’s Office, and state medical examiner’s office are also aiding the investigation.

“This is definitely a shock,” said neighbor Susan Holsombach. “Nothing like this has ever happened here. It’s a safe neighborhood.”

Iowa City police charged a local woman over the weekend who allegedly stabbed a man Saturday night at a residence in the 3500 block of Shamrock Place, just north of Expo Drive.
