Former Iowa linebacker Pat Angerer was the second Hawkeye to be drafted Friday night, as the Indianapolis Colts selected him 63rd overall during the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Angerer is the third Hawkeye in the last eight years to be drafted by the Colts, as Indianapolis has also selected Dallas Clark (2003) and Bob Sanders (2004). The Colts are also coached by a former Hawkeye player in Jim Caldwell.
The Bettendorf native was selected 40 picks after offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga went 23rd overall in the draft on Thursday to the Green Bay Packers.
