Law enforcement investigates suspicious death near Iowa City

Officials are investigating a suspicious death in the Modern Manor mobile home park near Iowa City.
Sarah Elizabeth McKay, 34, has been identified as the victim.

After the first day of competition at the Big Ten Championships, the Iowa men’s swimming and diving team stands tied for sixth with Northwestern and Indiana at 48 points, trailing Michigan, which leads with 80.

Tucker arrested for public intoxication

Things went from bad to worse for the Iowa men’s basketball team on Sunday.
Sophomore guard Anthony Tucker was arrested early Sunday morning on charges of public intoxication. According to police reports, the arrest was made shortly after 2 a.m., at the Lodge in Iowa City.
